Formula1 Will Get Back To USA in 2012

FIA Formula1 World Championship Will get back to United States .The last race was held in Indianapolis in 2007 and Lewis Hamilton took that win.

For the first time in the history of Formula One in the United States, a world-class facility will be purpose-built to host the event.

Mercedes And Red Bull Bring New Chassis In Turkey

Mercedes have comnfirmed it will bring a new chassis to Turkey with longer wheelbase.The W01 used in Monaco was a shorter wheelbase car and was better-suited to the Monte-Carlo track.
Ross Brawn added the team have “major and very challenging upgrades” planned for the next few races:

I am encouraged that we have made progress over the last two races and that we have identified our areas of weakness which we are working hard to rectify. We have some major and very challenging upgrades for the next few races which have been made possible by the commitment and hard work of everyone at the factory over the past weeks.
In Turkey, we will return to our previous suspension system and longer wheelbase car, we have the latest iteration of our ‘F-duct’ rear wing plus further aerodynamic developments.

Nico Rosberg said he was looking forward to racing at Istanbul Park, especially because of the track’s distinctive and challenging turn eight:

Istanbul Park is a great circuit and one of the best of the newer tracks that we visit. From a drivers’ point of view, the layout provides some good opportunities for overtaking with a very wide track, lots of late braking zones and gradient changes. Turn Eight is the corner that everyone talks about. The triple apex is probably one of the longest corners that we drive and it has very high G levels. It’s great fun to drive and you can make up a lot of time there if you get it just right.

Sebastian Vettel is to be given a new chassis for the Turkish Grand Prix after his Red Bull Racing team discovered a fault on the car he had used in Monaco.


The German has been beaten by team-mate Mark Webber in the last two races, and in Monaco he had no response for his team-mate's pace throughout the weekend.

After the cars returned to the Red Bull Racing factory earlier this week, the team conducted a detailed investigation into the car Vettel has used all season (chassis number 3), and discovered a fault - although it has not specified exactly what it is.

With the outfit determined to give both its drivers an equal chance of battling for the championship, however, it has decided to give Vettel a replacement chassis for the next race of the season in Istanbul.

When asked by AUTOSPORT to clarify the chassis situation, team principal Christian Horner said: "Sebastian Vettel experienced some handling peculiarities with his current chassis during the Monaco GP. Upon further investigation a small defect was found on his chassis, which will be replaced for the next race in Turkey."

Webber used chassis number 2 for the season opener in Bahrain, but switched to chassis 4 after that.

Alonso: Monaco was a missed opportunity

Monaco could easily have been Fernando Alonso’s weekend. After dominating the timesheets in Thursday’s opening practice sessions, it looked as though victory was already in reach, but then a small mistake on Saturday morning damaged his Ferrari beyond repair and ruled him out of qualifying.

Forced to start the race from the pit lane, Alonso valiantly worked his way up the field and was set for sixth when Mercedes GP’s Michael Schumacher made a last-ditch overtaking manoeuvre. Although Schumacher was subsequently penalised for the move - and Alonso claimed the eight points - the Spaniard, who believed he had the pace to claim victory, can’t help feeling disappointed.
“The Monaco Grand Prix was bittersweet for me,” Alonso told Ferrari’s official website. “Clearly, in terms of the points I picked up, it was not good enough, especially as we were in the right shape to fight for the win. Following on from Barcelona, where we were not fast enough to win, on the Monaco track, where aerodynamics is less important, we were more competitive.”
But despite feeling frustrated with his mistake on Saturday, Alonso was pleased with his performance on Sunday and the team’s resilience.
“This result should make the team proud of all they did in difficult circumstances,” he continued. “To find yourself having to watch the screen right from the start (of qualifying), was really cruel. But I think this incident brought us even closer together as a group - it’s at times like these that you get the measure of people and the entire team was amazing.
“Sunday was very satisfying. We were aware that if we wanted to finish in the points, everything had to be perfect: the car, strategy, overtaking and tyres. And that was indeed the case. We had only finished rebuilding the car a few hours earlier and to finish such a tough race without the slightest problem shows just how great the lads are.”
With six races down, and 13 still to go, Alonso and Ferrari are now focusing their attentions on improving the F10’s pace ahead of the forthcoming Turkish Grand Prix, which will take place at Istanbul Park later this month.
“Now, we have to roll our sleeves up to push even more on the development of the car,” he concluded. “We still have to make up some ground in terms of performance and as we are in the thick of the fight, we don’t want to leave anything to chance as we try and reach our goals.”
Alonso lies third in the drivers’ championship on 75 points, just three behind Red Bull’s Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel.

Renault trusts Kubica will stay on in 2011

Renault is confident it will convince Robert Kubica to remain at the team next year, even if Ferrari offers him a place alongside Fernando Alonso for 2011.

Mark Webber Started the race from pole and never seemed to lose it ,The safety cars interruption four times in the race closed the gap between him and Sebastian Vettel if the safety cars did not came the gap wouldbe very big a perfect race from the Australian.Sebastian Vettel's race was determined at the start where he managed to jump Kubica's Renualt and never seemed to match his teammate even though he set the fastest lap of the race with 1:15.192 .

Felipe Massa drove a good race he tried to overtook Kubica at the start but he couldn't and stayed close to the leading trio and was able to match thier pace but as we all know overtaking is impossible on this track.Fernando Alonso started with a smart strategy with changing to medium tyres on the first lap,his aggressive passes on the slower cars was very important to finish in sixth and did 77 laps on the same tyres and was doing a good pace to the cars behind him which prove how good the F10 – and Alonso – is at preserving tyres.

Jenson Button retired
Lewis Hamilton finished the race where he started and that was not to happen without his early pit stop to change to the medium tyres he would have been passed by Fernando Alonso.Button's race starts was bad as he moved from eight on the grid to eleventh maybe due to engine failure and retired with blown engine in the first lap.

Rosberg lost to places at the start but got them back later ,He did a long stint on the soft tyres but couldn't pass anyone .Micheal Shumacher did a great race and finished sixth infront of Fernando Alonso which he passed at the final corner but the stewards handed him 20 seconds penalty to drop him from sixth to twelve but Mercedes said they will appeal.
Force India
Adrian Sutil 8th Place
Vitantonio Liuzzi 9th Place
Liuzzi ran infront of his teammate for alomost half of the race until Sutil passed him they were both running 9th and 10th but Shumacher's penalty gave them one place ahead.
Toro Rosso
Sebastien Buemi 10th Place
Jaime Alguersuari 11th Place
Buemi was running 11th and was close to the Force India's and took the final point thanks to Shumacher's penalty,Alguersuari did a good race but with overtaking he had to settle for 11th place.
HRT
Karun Chandhok retired
Bruno Senna retired
The HRT driver's kept out of problems and they wanted to finish the race but Senna hit Hydraulics problem and Trulli took Chandhok out with him with an aggressive overtaking move that didn't work out very well.
Williams
Rubens Barrichello retired
Nico Hulkenberg retired
both Williams drivers took the blame for thier accidents even though Barrichello was running infront of Shumacher when crashed at turn two.
BMW Sauber
Kamui Kobayashi retired

Pedro de la Rosa retired
Bmw Sauber had another bad race with de la rosa hitting hydraulics problems and Kobayashi C29 running into gearbox trouble.
Lotus

Jarno Trulli retired
Heikki Kovalainen retired
For a long time Kovalainen looked very strong and his lap times were very respectable. But both he and Trulli were delayed when the right rear wheelgun malfunctioned during their pit stops, and the Finn eventually retired with a steering joint problem which rendered the T127 too dangerous to drive. Trulli was pressuring Chandhok’s HRT for the new teams’ honours when he misjudged a passing move in Rascasse corner and they collided heavily.
Virgin

Lucas di Grassi retired
Timo Glock retired
Onboard footage from Alonso’s following Ferrari revealed just what oversteering handfuls both Virgins were. Glock nevertheless ran strongly and was chasing Kovalainen’s Lotus until he brushed a wall and damaged a track rod. Di Grassi also pushed hard and enjoyed a brief scrap with Alonso, but was eventually halted by a wheel problem.

Webber Leads Red Bull's One Two In Monaco

Red Bull's Mark Webber took the win of the Monaco Grand Prix webber who led every lap of the race that saw 4 safety cars .The race started with the first safety cars when Williams's Nico Hulkenberg crashed his car heavily in the tunnel that helped Fernando Alonso who started from the pit lane ,Alonso switched from soft tyres to the harder ones that helped him make his way to sixth place but Micheal Shumacher made a move on him on the Final corner to take sixth place from the spainiard Jenson Button suffered an engine failure during the safety car.
Webber extend his lead after the safety car to almost 12 seconds ahead of Sebastian Vettel who jumped ahead of Kubica in the start,The Second safety car came when Rubens Barrichello spun right befor turn two to bring the safety car again.
The race saw a lot retirments with both Virgin cars and both Williams both BMW-Sauber's and both Lotus also with Jarno Trulli's passing move on Karun Chandhok three laps befor the end which damaged both cars heavily and brought the safety car once again.
Vitaly Petrov was the last to retire with two laps to go.
Webber now leads the Driver's standings ahead of Sebastian Vettel And Jenson Button.

Webber’s third lap was good enough to have taken pole - just - but his fourth was the killer, the only sub-1m 14s of the weekend and the one that put everyone else in the shade. It was another super-confident performance from the Australian that left Vettel a little open-mouthed on third place on the grid.

Kubica was simply brilliant as he squeezed everything out of the Renault that it had to give, without putting a mark on the car. He tried one more fast lap and it looked good, until the super soft Bridgestones went past their best in the second half of it. If he makes a great start… Petrov again looked good until his mistake at the beginning of Q2 put him into the wall at Ste Devote. He said he was struggling with the brake balance and experiencing wheel locking.

Fernando Alonso, No time, P24, will start from pit lane with new chassis
Massa was in strong form even before Alonso’s accident at Massenet in the morning, and the two were very close. The Brazilian was quick in qualifying but said he was too close to Rosberg all the time in Q3. Alonso simply apologised for that rarest thing, a driving error, and having missed qualifying altogether will start from the pit lane because he has to use the spare chassis.
McLaren

Hamilton said that he brushed every barrier as he squeezed everything out of his McLaren, while Button was annoyed that Massa ruined his best lap by slowing ahead of him in the final Noghes corner, and thus also compromised his subsequent effort too. He also suspected the harder Bridgestone may have been a quicker choice for Q3.

For the first time this season the Mercedes drivers looked very evenly matched, and by the end of Q3 they were separated by 0.046s. But Rosberg was disappointed with only sixth place after being very fast in Q2 and admitted to making a mistake and encountering traffic at a crucial time. Schumacher looked much more his old self, said he had a pretty clean run, and that he got the most out of his MGP W01.

Changes to his VJM03’s set-up, to promote understeer and thus prevent the rear-end’s lack of traction and snap oversteer from hurting the performance, worked well for Liuzzi, who also changed his driving style a little to compensate, and he looked his old self at last on his way to P10. Sutil brushed a wall in the morning, and said that Petrov’s shunt hurt his efforts to make it through to Q3.

Lotus had a trouble-free run, and were delighted when Kovalainen came so close to breaching the respectable territory of the 1m 16s, even though he admitted that his last banzai effort got a little messy and did not improve. Trulli said loss of time on Thursday hampered his ultimate choice of set-up.

Glock lost a lot of time in the morning with a leak in the steering rack, so went into qualifying blind. In the circumstances he was happy with what he achieved, while Di Grassi enjoyed a trouble-free run in the second car.

Senna was much happier with a new floor on his F110, and it showed in his performance, but Chandhok was left mystified by his relative pace after looking strong on Thursday. He and his engineers will be examining the differential this evening in an attempt to find answers.

Alonso to miss qualifying after practice crash

Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso will miss Saturday’s qualifying session in Monte Carlo after his car sustained heavy damage during a crash in final practice. Alonso will thus start Sunday’s race from the pit lane with a fresh chassis.


The Spaniard’s accident came with just six laps completed. He lost control of his F10 at Massenet, swiping its right side against the barriers, rendering the chassis irreparable at the circuit. Alonso, who was unhurt, admitted the incident was purely down to driver error.

The former champion had been dominating the Monte Carlo weekend, topping both of Thursday's practice sessions, and was considered among the favourites to take pole position for the famous street race, which he has won twice in the past.

Monaco Grand Prix Practice Analysis

The teams spent Thursday in Monaco carrying out their usual evaluation of the prime and option Bridgestone tyres (medium and super soft here), and handling on low and high fuel loads, while acclimatising themselves to the new higher kerbs and road surfacing of the Monte Carlo track. Alonso’s main aim was to get a handle on tyre behaviour while regaining confidence in the track, and he succeeded admirably on both counts on a circuit where he suggested that a major set-up change might find you a tenth of a second. Rosberg and Schumacher were closer than they have been all season, though the younger German lost a lot of running time in the morning with a pushrod problem. Williams were one of the few teams with new parts in Monaco, and Barrichello had a new rear wing in the morning. Hulkenberg used one in the afternoon. Both agreed it was promising and offered enhanced levels of grip.

It’s fairly clear that Monaco suits the C29 much less than Barcelona did, but De la Rosa thought the team were heading in the right direction by the end of the day. Kobayashi said his car was really difficult to drive, and clobbered the wall exiting the chicane in the morning, to prove his point.

Monaco Grand Prix Alonso Fastest For Ferrari

Fernando Alonso set the fastest time in Monaco's First practice Alonso set a time 1′15.927 to be the only one to get bellow 1'16 ,Sebastain Vettel was Second with 1'16.00 the times at the top were very close as the gap between Alonso's ferist place and Sebastian Buemi was less than a second.
Robert Kubica took third place from Mark Webber ahead of Ferrari's Felipe Massa Micheal Shumacher was again ahead of his teammate Nico Rosberg ,Lewis Hamilton was seventh ahead of teammate Jenson Button with Adrian Sutil In ninth place.
there were two incidents in the practice Karun Chandhok had lapped his F110 in 1m 21.853s before running out of grip in Massenet and lightly tapping the barrier rear-end first after spinning and Kobayashi, who went off at Mirabeau and later took his front wing off after getting the exit to the Swimming Pool wrong.

Monaco Grand Prix Preview(will Red Bull Still Ahead)

So far in the season Red Bull have dominated every Qualifying and in Spain they were way much faster then in the first four races,And it's also known in Monaco qualifying could really determine the race winner unless the race is wet which could be the case this weekend .So will Reb Bull have the upper hand again ?
Ferrari did not win in Monaco since 2001 and they were very close with Felipe Massa in 2008 ,Massa will go to this weekend determine to make a good result with the soft tyres in Monaco Massa is looking forward to it:

This weekend, even if there will be no major changes on the F10, I expect we can be more competitive, mainly because Bridgestone is bringing the Super Soft and Medium tyres here and I much prefer using this combination. We had the same tyre choices in Bahrain, where I was much happier than at the other races, in terms of the grip levels I found from the tyres.

Meanwhile Lewis Hamilton also looking forward to Monaco after winning the 2008 race and his late retirement in spain ,Hamilton loves the Monte Carlo Circut and his win in 2008 is his greatest:“I love Monaco - it’s the greatest track in Formula One. And my victory in 2008 is still probably my best win, and one of the greatest moments in my career. It was an incredible day. In 2008 it was wet and, looking at the week ahead, the weather also looks extremely unpredictable, with heavy rain forecast for much of the week. Even if it doesn’t rain on the Sunday, the possibility of heavily disrupted practice and qualifying sessions means that we’ll probably go into the race with a chance of one of the most exciting and unpredictable Monaco Grands Prix for many years. And that would be fantastic, because, with just a single stop in the race for tyres, there’s going to be less opportunity for strategy to play a role in deciding the outcome, unless it rains of course.

With a very narrow track and no run of areas expect a lot of red flag interruption during the race and the practice a lot of drivers might fall victim to traffic and not make it through to Q2.

Next week Monaco's grand prix could be another race in the rain this year with the chance of rain is very high ,Rain could affect the the run even if doesn's come when the cars are racing rain will make the track green which is a problem for the drivers in Monaco as the track is used in nirmal days by road cars and get cleaner each day of racing .Mclaren will come to the race with big confidence as thier drivers line up is 2008 and 2009 winners with Hamilton And Button "I love the Monaco circuit - it's the greatest track in Formula 1," Lewis commented. "My victory there in 2008 is still probably my best win in Formula 1 and one of the greatest moments in my career. It was an incredible day.

Spanish Grand Prix Analysis

Red Bull may have dominated the Spanish grand prix but they faced another break failure with Sebastian Vettel and Mclaren's great race pace is much closer to Red Bull then in Qualifying we take a team by team analyse.

Red Bull were very fast in qualifying with both Webber And Vettel they were both eight tenth faster the Lewis Hamilton in third place , But thier race pace wasn't that fast Mark Webber won the race from the first lap but Lewis Hamilton could match the Red Bulls pace and was able to pass Vettel even though he pitted after the German . Another issue for Red Bull is reliability Vettel suffered another break failure the is his 3rd from five races.

Ferrari may have brought thier own version of Mclaren's F-DUCT and it worked great for them with Felipe Massa's fastest top speed with 312 KPH but Ferrari slipped back behind Red Bull And Mclaren as well but never the less Fernando Alonso drove a great race to take second place thanks to Hamilton's retirement and Vettel's Failure . Felipe Massa in the other hand is having troubles with new car and Ferrari are investigating his pace in spain but i expect him to back in Monaco.

One thing was clear in the race that Mercedes wasn't as fast as it seemed in free practice but we are all happy to see Micheal Shumacher fighting again his move on Button after the English man came out of the pit was very aggressive and then defending the place from Button was also very nice Mercedes made a great step foward with Micheal , But what happened with Nico Rosberg okay he got a bad start and had a pit stop problem but his pace was not good.
Mclaren
Jenson Button 5th Place
Lewis Hamilton Retired in 2nd Place with two laps to go
Lewis Hamilton drove a fanastic race he managed to keep up with the Red Bulls and passed Vettel when he had a chance when the German was coming out of the pits and and ran in second place until he had his left front tyre blown off .Jenson Button started the race well and he was right back Fernando Alonso but he lost time i the pits and came behind Micheal Shumacher and never got passed the German.
Force India

Tonio Liuzzi Retired
Adrian Sutil made a good start and made the places and made a good jop of keeping behind Robert Kupica's Renualt ,Liuzzi struggled with the soft tyres and was the first to switch to the harder tyres he eventually retired with power loss but that didn't affect his place.

Kubica made a bad start and then found himself behind Adrian Sutil and couldn't got past him to finish the race in eighth place,Petrov was to cautious on the start unlike his first races and missed the points in eleventh place.

Barrichello drove a great race from 17th on the grid to finish 9th ,Hulkenberg was in a good place but an of road moment after his pit stop cost him a lot .

Sebastien Buemi Retired
Alguersuari had a messy race, running right behind Sutil and ahead of Kubica early on before a sticking front left wheel nut lost him a lot of ground in the first pit stop. Later he carved up Chandhok when he misjudged a lapping move, and got a drive-through penalty for his troubles. A point on home ground was thus welcome, but he was disappointed that he could not convert good race pace into something better. Buemi walloped De la Rosa on the opening lap and needed a new nose at the end of it, later got a drive-through for an unsafe release into Trulli’s path, and then retired with hydraulic problems.

Senna’s undertray had been repaired after damage was discovered that had lost him downforce all through practice and qualifying, but he got caught out in Turn Four on the opening lap after a spectacular start, and crashed out. Chandhok started at the back after a gearbox replacement, but made good progress until he was assaulted by Alguersuari and had to pit for a replacement nose. Soon after, further damage sustained in the incident forced him out.

Webber Wins The Spanish Grand Prix In Style

Red Bull's Mark Webber wins the Spanish Grand prix from pole position For the firs time in 2010 .Webber who started from pole and never looked back to take the win from Fernando Alonso which got a present from Hamilton's bad luck and Sebastian Vettel break failure .Vettel finished third after all after nursing the car home , Micheal Shumacher defended fourth place from Jenson Button ,Shumacher made an aggressive move on Button when he was coming out of the pit down the main straight , Felipe Massa made a good start to mve from 9th on grid to seventh and stayed there for the whole race with Hamilton's retirement he finished sixth,Adrian Sutil drove a fantastic race to finish seventh ahead of Renualt's Robert Kubica and William's Rubens Barrichello .Local hero Jaime Alguersuari took the final point .

Red Bull Dominates Barcelona Qualifying

The Red Bull Drivers controled the Qualifying in Spain But this time it was Mark Webber Who edged Sebastian Vettel From pole the were both eight tenth faster than third place Lewis Hamilton who edged local hero Fernando Alonso to 4th with Jenson Button in a good fifth Micheal Shumacher Finally outpaced his teammate Nico Rosberg and will start from sixth place Robert Kubica did a fantastic jop and put his Renault in seventh place ahead of Mercedes's Nico Rosberg And Ferraris Felipe Massa and a great drive from Kamui Kobayashi which put BMW-Sauper for the first time this year in the top ten.
Adrian Sutil Was the biggest loser in Q2 And will start frem 11th on the grid but the biggest surprise was Rubens Barrichello Failing to make into Q2 and will start ahead of the improved lotus.
